Okay, one of my favorite shows is Time Warp! It's on the discovery channel and on the show they take everyday, or very extreme things, events, happenings, whatever you want to call it and record them then show them in the slowest of slow motion possible. It is so fascinating to me. All of the episodes are great.
Well, it is just another slow day at work with not much to do. Low and behold I found an entire episode of Time Warp dedicated to germs, which brings me to my own germ paranoia...
My paranoia about putting the lid down on the toilet when I flush it and I hate it when people don't. People make fun of me for it or think I'm crazy, but it is not just some weird quirk people! I first read about this in some magazine a couple years ago that the contents spread something like a 4 ft radius when it's being flushed, which has grossed me out ever since... and now I have proof in this video for my being grossed out. Please, put the lid down on the toilet seat before you flush it, at least when you use my bathroom, so the things on my counter and my towels stay nice and clean. Thanks.

Go to the link, and it is third video down. And while you're at it, check the other videos out too and the other episodes. It is an awesome show! I don't think I've watched an episode that I have not been amazed at something they did on it.

My other home!
My blog has been pretty quiet lately... the last post I did was basically TWO months ago! It is sort of crazy. I haven't been doing a whole lot or anything, just work. Go to work, come home... I've gone on a few dates this past month, and they were really fun. Don't hold your breath though, nothing's gonna happen with any of them.
This past week, I found out that Thomas will officially be home on December 29th. 3 months! It will go by fast. Considering I haven't written a blog post in two whole months... haha. I think I can handle three. But, I also have some more news!
I am going back to my home away from home of Cedar City! WOO! I am so excited about it! Last Monday I was just feeling down, and in a rut about life. The previous week was just a very horrible week for me. I don't know what it was, but everything seemed to go wrong! It was stressful at work and I just felt so lonely at home. Everything felt out of place in my life. I had been praying for some direction and peace in my life because I just had this sense of being lost in the world.
After talking a bit with my mom I decided I would go back to SUU in the spring. I felt so strongly about it, that I just was prompted to reapply right then, last monday. So I did it! I realize after the fact that if I hadn't done it right then, I probably would've talked myself out of it, so I am glad I followed that prompting because it just feels so right for me.
Crazy, shocking, yes... But nevertheless, I'm gonna do it! :-) And I can't wait! Unfortunately, the spring semester classes start on January 4th (not even a week after Thomas gets home), but it will be okay. We will still be able to talk on the phone and see each other on weekends here and there. Which is 100% more than what we've been living with. I think it will be good for us to ease back into things and see what happens. We are taking a more cautious approach to things now that the reality of things are setting in and that he is going to be home so soon. But, I am still really excited about being back at SUU and about having him back in Utah.
I've got my major as a Bachelor in Nutrition. I haven't locked in a minor yet, but I'm leaning towards either child development or business management. I also figure that even if I'm only there for this spring semester and don't get my Bachelor's there, I will get my associates of generals (I only have 10 cerdits to get that) and then I'll be able to transfer anywhere in Utah a lot easier. I just feel really good about everything now and I am so excited!
I went down to Cedar this past weekend for conference and I realized how much I really do miss it there. I can't wait to be back for school! I am now in the process of finding a place to live and waiting for the registration date and just figuring out all of the hows and whats.

Work work work...
Life's been crazy lately! The new job has been more stress and less sleep than I'm used to, but I'm slowly growing accustomed to it all. It will get easier as I get more used to all of it. Work work work... that seems like all I will be doing! It is somewhat sad, but it is also exciting. I know it is all to save up money for my future... at least that is what I keep telling myself every morning at 5:45am. haha.
Luckily, the weekend before I started my new job, I got to go down to Cedar City to visit my friend Adell! My friends Jessica and Travis came too and we had a blast! We went on a great hike in Kanarraville about 20 minutes south of Cedar. We got to see some of the shakespeare festivities, and eat at Pastry Pub (amazing little cafe type restaurant) too. It was a great trip and perfect way to spend my last weekend before the new job. I will post pictures from that later..
This past week, one of my best friends got married too. It was also a bittersweet day. It was a great experience to be with them at the temple grounds and help out with the reception, as I was one of the bridesmaids. And we had fun. But, it was also sad because she is moving up to Logan now for school... So I feel like I'll never see her again! haha. It is also a jealousy thing too. haha. Of course I wish it was me right now getting married, but if Thomas and I do get married when we plan on it still, it's basically 6 and a half months away! It will go by so quick! He just has 4 months left basically now too! I'm super excited, yet nervous, as the time ticks away.
Anyway! It is super late and I have to get up for work in the morning, so... I better get to bed! Adios!
