Wow, July is almost over folks! I am amazed at how quickly this summer has flown by, but I am sure that is due to the fact that I have kept very busy.
The past few weeks, I've gone up to the Burton famliy cabin, played ultimate frisbee, kickball, croquet, board games, gone to the drive in, had a bridal shower, and more. I've been overloaded with fun that I think when the fall hits, it will almost be depressing! All of my friends will head back to where ever their school is located and I will be here at home again with nothing to do. :-(
Except perhaps WORK! yes, it happened! I landed a job with the law firm! The teacher of my paralegal class emailed me in June, as some of you know, and asked me if I'd be interested in a job at her firm. Their secretary was leaving. Well, of course I said yes and we kept in contact over email for a few weeks updating each other on what was going on. Annnnnd, bam! Just this past week I got a phonecall from her Tuesday. Wednesday I went in, met the office (the whole 3 people I'll be working with) and trained with their old secretary. So, now I start August 3rd!
I know this is a huge blessing, but I have had mixed emotions since Wednesday. I am very greatful for the job, but at the same time, I am really sad to be leaving the Daycare. I will miss all of "my" children. I am also sad because I will now be spending about 55% of my time focused on work. 30% sleeping. And, the rest of the 15% divided between to do lists, cooking&eating, and the rest of the daily stuff. It is going to be tough, but hopefully it will be worth it! It will be hard to get the hang of the new job, but things will get easier with the job as time goes on too, so I look forward to that. It will be a great experience overall!

One two, skip all of June... on to July!
I just looked on here and realized I hadn't posted anything since MAY.. 31st. Where did June go?? I decided I'll just post pictures so you can see where my June went. haha.
My friends and I decided to go on weekly hikes and it has been a lot of fun! We've been doing a bunch of other outdoor games too, like kickball, lightning, and we did croquet tonight.
My sister Pam and her 5 daughters came in town from Michigan for about 2 weeks at the end of June. We went to the Zoo one day and just had fun in our backyard and around the house. Her husband Jared came out and they blessed their newest addition, Eliza, on July 5th. My dad and step-mom were able to come up from Arizona to be apart of that too. Overall, this summer has been a blast so far and is going by super fast! Thomas almost has just 5 months left folks! He's been in a tough area the past two weeks and as always, would love some extra prayers for the Nica-people.
